The perfect place for my romantic escape. Great staff, they even brought me water at night! Has everything I need: Wi-Fi, parking, dryer, kettle, TV. No pets or smoking. Always coming back!

Stayed at this cozy cottage. Loved the free WiFi so I could post about my amazing sea and mountain views. The BBQ onsite was perfect for my fancy dinners. Plus, the air conditioning made me forget I was in Ireland.

Who needs suitable drinking water or a designated dining area? Definitely not me!

We got great value for our money at the cottage. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was beautiful, right next to Crough Patrick, and the staff treated us like family.

The breakfast menu could use some improvement, maybe with more variety in options.

The location of this holiday cottage is ideal, with stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. the hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating, even offering an extra night for free. the cottage itself is spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a cozy stay. the outside views are amazing, and the sound of the nearby stream adds to the tranquility.

The tap water in the area needs to be boiled before drinking, which can be a bit inconvenient.

Had a wonderful Christmas stay in this cozy cottage. the property was clean and comfortable, perfect for our family of four. We were blessed with good weather and spent most of our time exploring the nearby beaches and towns. the location was key, with Westport and the beautiful Irish fjord town of Leenaun just a short drive away. We also loved that there were excellent dining options within walking distance, with the Tavern Bar serving great food and drinks just steps away.

None at all! the whole experience was fantastic and there were no negatives to mention.

I had the most amazing stay at The Cottage Hillside! The location was absolutely stunning, with Crough Patrick right next door and breathtaking mountain views. The cottage itself was cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including spotless rooms and comfortable beds. We were also delighted to discover the award-winning restaurant, The Tavern, just a stone's throw away. The food there was absolutely top-notch and lived up to its well-deserved reputation. Despite being in the countryside, we were conveniently close to Newport town for any necessities we needed. The added bonus was the local yoga studio in town, which was perfect for energizing us before our climb up Crough Patrick. The hosts were helpful and attentive, making sure our stay was going smoothly. I cannot recommend The Cottage Hillside enough. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I can't wait to go back again!

The Cottage Hillside was such a cozy and wonderful getaway. The wind warning outside added to the cozy atmosphere, and having Netflix was a cool bonus. The location was perfect, with the pub just a minute away and the beautiful Croagh Patrick a few minutes' walk. Highly recommend for an authentic wild West experience!

The toilet being quite low might be a bit challenging for someone with mobility problems. But overall, it didn't affect our stay too much.

Free WiFi: The WiFi at this charming accommodation worked like a dream, keeping me connected to the virtual world while I soaked in the serene surroundings. It was as reliable and fast as a cheetah sprinting towards its prey.

Uncomfortable Single Beds: The only downside was the single beds, which felt as comfortable as a makeshift raft made of rubber bands. A simple upgrade to new beds and mattresses would fix this minor issue.
